Samer Amin Khosrof, M.D.
Dr. Samer Khosrof completed his residency in Ophthalmology at SUNY Downstate University. He also completed additional training including a Vitreoretinal Surgery fellowship at Tulane University Medical Center and a Retina fellowship at Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary / Harvard Medical School. Dr. Khosrof had many publications in several peer-reviewed journals. His research in anti-angiogenesis served as the foundation for treating diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration.
Dr. Khosrof is an attending surgeon at SUNY-Downstate University Medical Center, Methodist Hospital and Lutheran Medical Center. He has been providing exceptional eye care for over 25 years both nationally and internationally. Dr. Khosrof perfoms refractive, cornea, cataract, glaucoma, oculoplastic and vitreo-retinal surgries.
Dr. Khosrof is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS), American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), New York State Ophthalmological Society and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO).
